Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead industrial and advanced technology projects across the United States, including Omaha, NE. Expect relocation or per diem as projects require and a path for growth within a nationally diverse project portfolio.

Ideal candidates will have five+ years supervising crews, strong electrical systems knowledge, and readiness to travel. This role emphasizes safety, budget control, and coordination with contractors and owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent.
• Experience managing union labor is a plus.
• Direct and supervise crews.
• Broad understanding of technical electrical systems, including underground layout and installation and instrumentation installation.
• Above ground systems layout and installations, including conduit installations within hazardous locations; cable tray systems; cable pulling in conduit and tray.
• Experience managing 20-50 craft employees at one time.
• Prepared to attend meetings with customers and owners/general contractors.
• Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills.
• Adapt to new surroundings and new people.
• Must be able to access all points of a construction site.
• Must be able to work with a team and provide input.
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willing to travel and relocate on an as needed basis; nationwide
• Able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Since our projects are located nationwide, multiple relocations are required on an as needed basis.
