Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for an active construction project in Torrance, CA, to lead electrical field supervision and enforce quality standards.   • Familiarity with inspection processes, submittals, and document tracking systems in the Construction Environment (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, e2020) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and implement the elements of the Construction Quality Management Plan at the electrical subcontractor field supervision and craft labor level.
  • Track and document quality during construction with the Quality Manager.
  • Coordinate with electrical inspector when quality issues arise with electrical work.
  • Monitor progress and execution of workplans by electrical subcontractor.
  • Perform ongoing QA inspection of the electrical subcontractor’s work, including installation of equipment and components.
  • Verify compliance of the subcontractor’s work with contract requirements, codes, standards and shop drawings.
  • Review electrical subcontractor’s workplans and daily quality control reports.
  • Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including test reports from subcontractor testing.

Jacobs Engineering is seeking a qualified professional to serve as an Electrical Superintendent for a fast-paced and existing Construction Project in Torrance, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary responsibility for communicating and implementing the elements of the Construction Quality Management Plan at the electrical subcontractor field supervision and craft labor level.
  • Works with the Quality Manager to track and document quality during construction.
  • Coordinates with electrical inspector when quality issues arise with electrical work.
  • Monitors progress and execution of workplans by electrical subcontractor
  • Performs ongoing quality assurance inspection of the electrical subcontractor’s work, including alignment and installation of electrical equipment, raceways, panels, instrumentation, and other electrical system components.
  • Verifies compliance of electrical subcontractor’s work with Contract requirements, codes, standards, approved shop drawings, manufacturer recommendations, and other requirements.
  • Reviews electrical subcontractor’s workplans and daily quality control reports.
  • Prepares and maintains all electrical/Instrumentation and controls QA documentation, including test reports obtained from the electrical subcontractor’s testing activities.

The base salary range for this position is $127,700.00 to $199,550.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
