Job summary

P&E Constructors, a nationwide mechanical and electrical contractor, seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations for structured cabling, fiber optic, and low‑voltage systems on large industrial projects. You will manage crews, coordinate with trades, ensure safety, schedule, and quality across multiple sites, with assignments nationwide.

The role involves up to 90% travel, per diem support, potential company vehicle or allowance, and eligibility for employee ownership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years progressive experience in electrical, low‑voltage, or communication infrastructure construction.
• Minimum 7 years as a Superintendent on large industrial, mission‑critical, data center, or commercial projects.
• Proven ability to lead field crews of up to 75 personnel on complex projects.
• Strong safety record; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage installations of structured cabling and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for structured cabling, fiber optic, pathway, and low‑voltage systems.
• Direct and supervise field personnel and subcontractors to ensure safe, high‑quality execution.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage daily construction activities to maintain schedule and productivity.
• Oversee installation of cable tray, ladder rack, conduit, and telecommunications rooms.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil, and general contractor teams to minimize conflicts.
• Conduct daily planning meetings, toolbox talks, and field coordination.
• Promote OSHA compliance and site safety plans; monitor quality to standards.
