Job summary

Build Talent LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent for the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Lead electrical field teams on large commercial projects, manage schedules, QA/QC, and coordination with Project Management, Engineering, and Safety.

The role emphasizes production planning, timely reporting, and strong collaboration with vendors and contractors to meet project requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in electrical construction.
  • Experience on large commercial electrical construction projects or programs.
  • Experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
  • Licensed Electrician is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods, codes, constructability, and quality standards.
  • Ability to prepare and update production schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Train, manage, supervise, and evaluate production team members.
  • Assist the Project Manager with preparing, maintaining, and updating production schedules.
  • Create and maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety documentation, and incident reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor installation and production progress.
  • Plan, organize, and direct production activities in accordance with project scope and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee implementation and compliance with QA/QC programs.
  • Coordinate with Project Management, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure materials and equipment are expedited and received according to schedule.
  • Ensure electrical installations meet applicable quality standards, project specifications, and electrical codes.
  • Review submittals, budgets, schedules, drawings, and other project documentation.
  • Maintain productive relationships with consultants, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Safety, Quality, and other internal teams to achieve project and production goals.
  • Review component layouts and material takeoffs for constructability and operational requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical installation and construction activities.
  • Participate in engineering, design, constructability, and production reviews.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and other documents related to electrical construction and manufacturing.
  • Report directly to the Project Manager.

A well-established Electrical contractor is seeking an experienced commercial Electrical Superintendent to join its team in the greater Dallas Fort Worth area.

Projects support a variety of sectors, including data centers, healthcare, industrial facilities, and large-scale commercial construction.

The ideal candidate will bring strong electrical field leadership experience combined with production planning, scheduling, quality control, and team management capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of electrical installation methods, codes, constructability, and quality standards.
  • Ability to prepare, manage, and accurately update production schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively between field/production teams, project management, engineering, purchasing, and logistics.
