Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field electrical construction on utility-scale power generation projects, including CCGT facilities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent industrial electrical construction experience preferred.
• 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in industrial, power generation, or heavy construction environments.
• CCGT, simple cycle, or utility-scale power generation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction sequencing, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work project-based schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical construction activities within assigned project areas.

• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and work schedules to meet project milestones.
• Oversee installation of switchgear, transformers, MCCs, cable tray, raceway systems, grounding, and power/control cabling.
• Review drawings, specifications, and work plans to ensure proper execution.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality, and commissioning teams.
• Support system turnover, energization, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain construction documentation.

This position oversees electrical craft personnel and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
