Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks a Superintendent - Electrical for our Miami, FL office. You will lead subcontractors and field crews on major electrical construction projects, focusing on safety, schedule, and on-time delivery.

Reporting to The General Manager, you will coordinate with owners, designers and engineers, manage budgets, and develop two-week look-ahead schedules using Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 2+ years with a commercial electrical contractor.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
• Proficiency with scheduling and cost-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractors and field forces on site.
• Maintain site safety per company policy.
• Oversee multiple projects and manpower.
• Develop and update project schedules.
• Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Use scheduling software to update timelines.
• Assist with buyout and selection of major subs.

Description

As a Superintendent at Fisk Electric, reporting to The General Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company's Safety Policy
• Oversight of multiple jobs & manpower for each job
• Develop and update the project schedule
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules
• Update project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software
• Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
• Coordinate the work of the subcontractors' field forces
• Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers
• Maintain accurate cost reports

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 8 (eight) years of commercial construction experience is required
• 2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
• Experience managing others with a proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring successfully
• Experience with Conest and Accubid Software
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (ex: JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
