Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks an Electrical Superintendent in Houston, TX to lead field operations on commercial projects.

You will develop look-ahead schedules, manage subcontractors, ensure safety, and coordinate with owners and engineers. Eight+ years of experience and proficiency in Conest, Accubid, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 2+ years of experience with a commercial electrical contractor.
• Experience leading, teaching, developing and mentoring a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site.
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company's Safety Policy.
• Oversight of multiple jobs & manpower for each job.
• Develop and update the project schedule.
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules.
• Update project schedules using scheduling software.
• Coordinate the work of the subcontractors' field forces.
• Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers.
• Maintain accurate cost reports.

DESCRIPTION

As an Electrical Superintendent at Fisk Electric, reporting to The General Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company's Safety Policy
• Oversight of multiple jobs & manpower for each job
• Develop and update the project schedule
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules
• Update project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software
• Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
• Coordinate the work of the subcontractors' field forces
• Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers
• Maintain accurate cost reports

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 8 (eight) years of commercial construction experience is required
• 2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
• Experience managing others with a proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring successfully
• Experience with Conest and Accubid Software
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (ex: JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
