Responsibilities

As an Electrical Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all electrical installations, ensuring they meet the project specifications and comply with all relevant codes and regulations.
• Developing and managing schedules for the electrical team, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.
• Leading and coordinating the electrical team, providing guidance and support to ensure high quality work.
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained and identifying any potential issues or risks.
• Coordinating with other superintendents and project managers to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across teams.
• Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
• Providing regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring all electrical equipment and materials are properly maintained and stored.
• Participating in project planning and contributing to the development of electrical designs and plans.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Electrical Superintendent, candidates must have:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the electrical construction industry.
• Proven experience in team leadership, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate a team, ensuring high quality work and adherence to schedules.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
