Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or a technical apprenticeship preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervising commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years supporting commercial construction or semiconductor projects.
  • Experience supervising industrial electrical and instrumentation construction projects.
  • Proficient in reviewing electrical plans, instrumentation diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
  • B-1 General Commercial Contractor license or actively pursuing licensure with applicable construction experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting water treatment or process utility systems along with associated mechanical, electrical, and controls infrastructure.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency using common construction software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily electrical and instrumentation construction activities.
  • Coordinate multiple subcontractors for safe, efficient field execution.
  • Review electrical plans, instrumentation diagrams, wiring schematics, and docs to support field installation.
  • Monitor progress aligning with schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
  • Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with codes and standards.
  • Review installation methods and assist with constructability planning to improve project execution.
  • Support project meetings with owners, contractors, engineering teams, and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate project correspondence, scope revisions, quality inspections, test results, and construction documentation for compliance.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment access, manpower planning, and construction sequencing.
  • Verify electrical testing activities including continuity and insulation resistance.
  • Promote OSHA compliance and safety culture on site.
  • Mentor field personnel and foster accountability and teamwork.
