Lead electrical field teams, coordinate multiple trade partners, and ensure uninterrupted operation in active data centers with strict safety and schedules.

This role focuses on critical infrastructure, distribution systems, and high‑reliability infrastructure, delivering projects on time and to spec.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct electrical construction activities on greenfield and brownfield data center projects.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors, field supervisors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee installation of distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, UPS.
• Monitor quality, schedules, safety, and milestones.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, commissioning and general construction teams.
• Identify and resolve conflicts and scheduling risks.
• Support testing, energization, commissioning and turnover.
• Maintain clear communication with project leadership and client reps.

Position Overview

STRM Recruiting is partnering with an established commercial construction organization seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee complex electrical installations on large-scale data center projects.

This position is ideal for a construction leader who understands critical electrical infrastructure, can coordinate multiple trade partners, and has experience delivering projects in both new construction and active operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct electrical construction activities on greenfield and brownfield data center projects.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors, field supervisors, and project stakeholders.
• Oversee installation of electrical distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Monitor installation quality, project schedules, safety compliance, and construction milestones.
• Coordinate with mechanical, controls, commissioning, and general construction teams.
• Identify and resolve installation conflicts, scheduling risks, and field coordination issues.
• Support system testing, energization, commissioning, and project turnover.
• Maintain clear communication with project leadership and client representatives.

Qualifications

• Significant electrical construction leadership experience, preferably on mission-critical or data center projects.
• Experience coordinating electrical trade contractors on complex commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, construction drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Experience working in active data centers or other environments requiring uninterrupted operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor performance.
• Strong communication and field leadership capabilities.
