Walbridge is looking for Superintendents who know how to and love to build! Schedule, coordinate, and supervise electrical craft employee activities. May involve supervising one or more trade groups, including electricians, plumbers, sheet metal workers, and similar within the construction industry.
Location: You can be located anywhere in the US, if you are highly willing to travel to our client projects on a long-term basis.
Responsibilities
- Resource Management: Plan and supervise assistant superintendents and/or craft activities, determining methods of construction, workforce levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedules, and documenting hours worked. Maintain liaison with other departments such as Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, support craft activities, and project schedule.
- Project Planning and Strategy: Coordinate assigned work with the work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
- Risk Management: Assist the Labor Relations Department in maintaining communications with unions, resolving jurisdictional disputes, requisitioning workforce, and labor approach for projects. Monitor craft compliance with safety programs; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Team Leadership: Liaise with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. Assist in resolving construction problems such as productivity issues and work interfaces.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
- Strong electrical background, especially in data centers, preferred.
- Relevant titles may include Construction Superintendent, Structural Superintendent, Mechanical Superintendent, or Electrical Superintendent.
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and supervising large groups.
- Experience with commercial or industrial projects valued at least $15M.
- Valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness and ability to travel (estimated at 70+%).
