Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or computer engineering from an ABET-accredited university, 3–5 years of relevant industry experience, and an Engineer in Training certificate. Candidates should understand three-phase power and power-system fundamentals and demonstrate analytical, communication, technical-writing, and organizational skills; a master's degree and progress toward professional engineering registration are preferred.
