Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Specialist (Medium-Low Voltage) to support CONUS/OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The role focuses on maintenance, inspection, and repair of medium and low voltage switchgear to ensure safe, reliable operation in industrial and commercial environments.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting control circuitry, recording maintenance actions, and complying with safety and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a technical, vocational, or trade school specializing in the electrical trade.
• Certified Journeyman in a CONUS jurisdiction.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the electrical trade, focusing on maintenance or construction.
• Extensive experience with medium and low voltage switchgear.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance at start and TS within eight months.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on medium and low voltage switchgear.
• Inspect and troubleshoot control circuitry for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team to address electrical system issues.
• Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Adapt to rotational shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
