Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Apprenticeship or formal degree in electrical construction.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics; knowledge of solar systems.
OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and working on ladders/scaffolds.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair electrical and solar systems per drawings and specs.
Install brackets, hangers, conduits, wiring, and components with a helper.
Follow NEC, state regulations, and safety programs.
Perform system commissioning and diagnose malfunctions.
Prepare equipment location sketches to meet wiring codes.
Identify risks and conduct safety hazard analyses.
Attend meetings and training as required.
