Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. seeks an Electrical & Software Project Manager for our Counterbalance Development Center in Portland, Oregon.

You will lead hardware, software, and control system projects from concept through production, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to align with company objectives. You will manage teams, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery while navigating a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in engineering or technical projects.
• Experience managing software and hardware development projects throughout life cycle.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, and management teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle of software and controls development projects from concept to production launch and post-launch support.
• Manage project plans, schedules, and resources; monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to optimize production processes.
• Lead and mentor project teams to ensure on-time delivery of milestones.
