Job summary

TEICON is seeking an Electrical Site Supervisor for a six‑month on‑site project in the Nederland, Texas area. The role involves supervising electrical construction activities in an industrial plant setting, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings, schedules and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have technical electrical education and several years of site supervision experience, with ability to read drawings and interface with Mechanical, Instrumentation and Civil

Qualifications

• Completed technical education or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Power Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field, or qualified electrical tradesperson with site supervision experience in industrial projects.
• Several years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or Electrical Foreman in industrial plant construction or heavy industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on site within an industrial plant environment.
• Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site crews, including daily task planning, progress monitoring, and workforce supervision.
• Interface with Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Civil disciplines to ensure smooth execution and interface management.
• Monitor installation quality, safety adherence, and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Support inspection activities, system walk-downs, and handover processes for pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Track progress and report status, issues, and risks to site management in a structured and transparent manner.
• Assist in resolving technical and execution-related issues on site with engineering and project teams.

Electrical Site Supervisor

YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

TEICON ENGINEERING is currently building a candidate pool for an upcoming large-scale project in the field of industrial process plant construction in the greater Nederland area, Texas.
The project will involve site-based execution activities within a complex industrial environment and is scheduled to start in Q2, with an initial duration of approximately six months and a potential extension.

• Project Location: Greater Nederland area, Texas
• Start Date: Q2 (exact date to be defined)
• Contract Type: Fixed-term employment or freelance contract
• Duration: Approx. six months, with option for extension
• Workload: Typically up to 56 hours per week, 6 days per week

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on site within an industrial plant environment.
• Ensure that electrical works are executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site crews, including daily task planning, progress monitoring, and workforce supervision.
• Interface closely with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Civil to ensure smooth execution and interface management.
• Monitor installation quality, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Support inspection activities, system walk-downs, and handover processes in preparation for pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Track work progress and report status, issues, and risks to site management in a structured and transparent manner.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a completed technical education or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Power Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field, or you are a qualified electrical tradesperson with strong site supervision experience in industrial projects.
• You have several years of hands‑on experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or Electrical Foreman in industrial plant construction or heavy industrial projects.
• You are familiar with electrical installations in industrial environments, including power distribution, cabling, grounding, and electrical equipment installation.
• You have solid experience working with subcontractors and multicultural site teams.
• You are confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• You demonstrate a strong safety mindset and are experienced in working under strict HSE regulations.
• You communicate clearly and professionally in English; additional language skills are an advantage but not required.
• You are willing and able to work on site in the United States for the full project duration, including extended working hours if required.
