Job Position: Electrical Site Superintendent - Industrial
Purpose: As the Construction Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, you will be a key leader in managing and growing our field personnel, serving as the on-site point of contact for our customers during each phase of construction. Your focus will be on proper execution of site procedures, safety practices, expense management, and daily project reporting. You will ensure the delivery of a quality product while maintaining a safe working environment. This position works at the project site and requires hands-on involvement.
This position may be located anywhere; however, it is a REMOTE position that may require travel to multiple states outside your residential state.
Responsibilities:
- Own all job site activities and personnel, including planning, material & equipment management, process execution, and safety.
- Oversee and report daily progress to the project team, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Interpret and manage construction activities based on standards, project files, drawings, and records.
- Lead benchmarking, shareholder review, and approval activities based on installation standards.
- Coordinate project activities such as planning, scheduling, cost management, change orders, procurement, and customer relations.
- Manage field personnel and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of construction projects.
- Hold daily tailgate meetings to discuss hazards, JHA completion, objectives, and best practices.
- Uphold safety policies and document safety incidents.
- Coach and mentor employees, providing performance feedback.
- Implement on-site training for field personnel.
- Develop and implement project procedures, schedules, and standards.
- Provide technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings and construction methods, and ordering materials and tools.
- Review employee time and expenses for accuracy and accountability.
- Manage crew efficiency and assess task-based time.
- Communicate conflicts or issues affecting the schedule.
- Lead by example and work alongside field technicians when needed.
- Build and manage a weekly schedule with a 3-week forecast.
- Adhere to local labor laws and journeyman to apprentice ratios.
- Represent the company on-site, interacting with inspectors, customers, landowners, OSHA, etc.
- Assist in engineering constructability, design, review, and execution planning.
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of industrial electrical construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and perceive project scope.
- Self-starter and team player.
- Effective communication with management, staff, and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%) within regional states, including overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
