Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-6 years of industrial electrical construction experience, with 2-3 years in supervision.
  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong NEC knowledge and heavy industrial installation methods.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and specs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S.
  • OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain; first aid/CPR preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work follows drawings, NEC, and local/state codes.
  • Lead daily safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
  • Coordinate electrical work with other trades, PMs, engineers, and clients.
  • Manage crew productivity, schedules, materials, and quality control.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Maintain daily reports, progress tracking, and as-built documentation.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning support for E-Houses and control panels.
  • Mentor electricians and promote continuous improvement.
  • Travel extensively to project sites nationwide.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Superintendent to provide full-time, on-site supervision of all electrical work on GW Systems projects across the United States. This is a traveling role responsible for overseeing electrical crews, ensuring safe and high-quality installation of power distribution, conduit, wiring, controls, automation systems, and E-Houses in industrial and plant environments.

Salary Range $85,000-120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct all on-site electrical construction activities, including conduit runs, duct banks, cable tray, power distribution, lighting, grounding, and automation systems.
  • Ensure work is performed in strict accordance with project drawings, specifications, National Electrical Code (NEC), and all applicable local/state codes.
  • Lead daily safety meetings, enforce company and client safety protocols, and maintain a zero-incident culture.
  • Coordinate electrical work with other trades, project managers, engineers, and client representatives.
  • Manage crew productivity, schedule adherence, material procurement, and quality control.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, progress tracking, as built documentation, and punch list management.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning support for E-Houses, control panels, and automation systems.
  • Mentor electricians and promote continuous improvement in workmanship and efficiency.
  • Travel extensively to project sites (typically multi-week or multi-month assignments).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-6 years of industrial electrical construction experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), industrial power systems, and heavy industrial installation methods.
  • Proven experience supervising electrical crews on industrial, mining, aggregate, or plant construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, must be willing to work as a team and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (projects located throughout the U.S.).
  • OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain), first aid/CPR preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automation, PLC controls, or E-House installation.
  • Previous work on bulk material handling, conveyor systems, or mineral processing plants.
  • NCCER, MSHA, or similar certifications.
