Job summary

Brandon and Clark Inc. is seeking a Billing Clerk in Lubbock, TX to support daily operations in the Electrical Services department. You will ensure accurate invoicing, handle customer inquiries, and maintain orderly records in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clerical or administrative work experience.
• Experience in an electro-mechanical or similar shop environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Open, update, and close work orders as services are requested and completed.
• Review assignments, status, and time on job for accuracy; complete daily reporting before invoicing.
• Enter labor, materials, and service charges accurately for invoicing and transfer between systems.
• Record and manage per diem for out-of-town jobs.
• Ensure time clock entries for field staff are accurate and timely.
• Maintain customer information and records for accuracy.
• Obtain signatures and attach supporting documentation for jobs.
• Maintain open job lists and follow up on status and inquiries.
• Create, manage, close, and transfer purchase orders to jobs; issue proforma invoices.
• Assist with purchasing materials and equipment; coordinate with vendors.
• Track license renewals to maintain compliance.
• Assist with credit memo documentation for Service Sector Manager.
• Ensure completed jobs are documented for pickup or delivery.
• Help technicians locate parts, tools, or documentation as needed.
• Coordinate timesheet approvals and PTO requests; assist with filing and data entry.
