Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Service / UPS installation Technician for its Service & National Accounts Group. This regional role requires 60% travel across the United States to install, test, and maintain UPS systems and related electrical equipment in accordance with plans and codes.

Applicants must have a HS diploma/GED with 5+ years in electrical service, experience with UPS systems, and may hold a journeyman license. Safety and professional conduct are required.

Qualifications

• This HS diploma/GED with 5+ years in the electrical service industry is required.
• Experience installing UPS systems is required.
• Journeyman license or equivalent is preferred.
• NFPA 70E and OSHA 30 certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, and devices per plans.
• Install, test, troubleshoot EMS systems, smart breakers, and panels.
• Inspect sites, study orders, and determine materials and procedures.
• Test circuits and diagnose malfunctions with tools and test devices.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair wiring and fixtures.
• Travel up to 60% across the United States for regional work.
