Recore Electrical Contractors, Inc., based near Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to service, repair, and install electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. You will use blueprints, investigate issues, and perform tests to ensure safe and reliable operation.

The role requires a minimum of two years in electrical service, strong troubleshooting skills across analog and digital circuitry, and the ability to work up to 480V while adhering to NEC and OSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electrical industrial and/or commercial service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuits.
• Safely work on electrical systems up to 480V and use electronic test equipment.
• Ability to read and analyze schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Work with blueprints to install systems in facilities.
• Indicate circuit locations on blueprints and position outlets, load centers, and panels.
• Install new electrical equipment.
• Install and bend EMT and rigid conduit.
• Repair electrical systems quickly to minimize downtime.
• Replace components such as breakers, fuses, switches, and wiring.
• Perform NEC-compliant installations and complete construction documents while maintaining OSHA standards.
• Review specifications, blueprints, and job scope for accuracy.
• Perform electrical testing and system monitoring; suggest improvements/repairs.
• Maintain a tidy, organized work area.
