Recore Electrical Contractors, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer to design, review, and oversee electrical systems for industrial projects from concept through commissioning.

You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70/NEC, OSHA, and client specs, while coordinating with project managers, field staff, and vendors.

The role offers the chance to lead complex designs, optimize systems, and advance safety and quality across multi-state projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Active PE license (NC/SC/GA/TN/VA/FL).
• 5–10+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Ability to develop electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop electrical systems for industrial facilities.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, load calculations.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70/NEC, OSHA, and local codes.
• Support project teams from concept through commissioning.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and equipment selections.
• Stamp/seal documents as required.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Assist with commissioning, testing, and startup.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost savings.
• Promote a strong safety culture on all sites.
