At Interstates, our Technicians are using the latest Hart/TREKS and Fluke communication and calibration devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with owner and manufacturing reps to successfully test, troubleshoot and commission 480V power distribution equipment
• Tests, configure parameters and modifies electrical systems for plant production
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V and 120V panels including power wiring, control wiring, PLC’s, relays and power supplies
• A strong level of experience working with low-voltage power distribution electrical systems
• Proficient with schematics, technical drawings and manuals, able to identify issues and repair equipment

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Minimum 3 year possession of a current Journeyman’s license
• Superior safety record
• Great communication skills
• 5 years of service or maintenance experience required
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Travel: This position requires regional travel to job sites within a 200-mile radius of South Bend, Indiana
