Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for field service in California. You will read schematics, wire systems, and install parts per CAD drawings, ensuring compliance with UL/CE standards.

The role includes furnace fieldwork, repairs, and start-ups in customer sites. You will travel up to 20% for installations and service calls, collaborate with Engineering for improvements, and support ITAR-access controlled information with a strong sense of urgency and

Qualifications

• Min 3+ years prior work experience related to electrical systems.
• Experience with gas burner systems or HVAC background are helpful.
• High school diploma, GED, or Trade Tech.
• Specialized certification preferred.
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Wire all electrical systems maintaining compliance.
• Fabricate and install parts that conform to CAD drawings.
• Perform furnace fieldwork for setups, rebuilds, repairs, and start-up.
• Travel fieldwork is required up to 20%.
• Provide back of potential improvements to Engineering Dept.
• Involve customers access to information subject to ITAR.

Job description

• Electrical know how (understand high and low voltage schematics, drives systems, temperature controllers, P&ID loops, basic understanding of PLC programming, phone support and troubleshooting).
• Experienced in the use of a variety of electrical control devices (Controllers, PLC, SCR, VFD).
• Wires all electrical systems maintaining UL and CE compliance, background with ISO 9001 will be helpful.
• Knowledge of 3-phase, single phase, VAC and VDC circuits.
• Knowledge of 4-20mA and 0-10V loops.
• Ability to read blueprint and/or electrical schematics.
• Fabricate and install parts that conform to Engineering CAD drawings.
• Analyzing needs and product requirements to improve designs.
• Provide back of potential improvements to Engineering Dept.
• Performs furnace fieldworks for setups, rebuilds, repairs, installs, and start-up.
• Travel Fieldwork is required for this position (less than 20%). Travel infrequently via car and air (international travel requires a passport). Involve customers access to information subject to ITAR.
