Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to perform electrical service work in commercial, residential, and healthcare settings. You will troubleshoot circuits, install wiring, and read blueprints to complete projects across various environments.

The role requires a STATE electrical license, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and willingness to travel outside Lexington as needed. Strong safety awareness and customer relations are essential.

Qualifikationen

• STATE electrical license is required.
• 5+ years of electrical experience recommended.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Willingness to travel outside of Lexington as needed.
• Proficiency with NEC and local codes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own your own hand tools.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screening.
• Good customer relation and communication skills.
• Eagerness to work collaboratively as part of a larger team.
• Knowledge of safety practices such as NFPA 70E, lock out/tag out, PPE.

Job Description

As an Electrical Service Technician, you will be required to perform all types of electrical service work in commercial, residential, and healthcare environments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and completing electrical circuits, lights, relays, sensors, motor starters, etc.
• Receiving and completing work orders
• Wiring
• Bending, threading, and installing EMT and galvanized rigid conduit
• Completing transformers, motor control, switchboards, and lighting applications
• Reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, and other reference material
• Training Electrician apprentices
