Rodenhiser Home Services Inc. is seeking a licensed electrician to diagnose and repair electrical residential systems in Massachusetts.

You will lead customers to informed buying decisions and perform service calls while mentoring apprentices and maintaining safety and quality. You will establish rapport with clients, explain options for financing and maintenance plans, and ensure jobs are completed with a focus on KPI targets.

Formación

• Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Read and follow policy manuals, safety rules, and procedures.
• Ability to mentor apprentices and train others.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to take direction and follow technical instruction.

• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-stocked truck.

The Big Task

Diagnose and repair electrical systems and lead customers to informed, and confident buying decisions.

Key Sub Tasks

• Complete any electrical residential service calls.
• Establish customer rapport to instill confidence in team and sell the right products and services.
• Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions.
• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Ability to exceed minimum KPI goal.
• Successfully complete follow up calls.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Hold Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
• Competent in the use of all tools and resources related to basic service calls.
• Knowledge of Electrical codes and proper safety standards.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Ability to take timely action to solve problems using established policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety, rules, and procedures.
• Engaged in further technical development (i.e. Different disciplines and cross‑training).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to take direction and/or technical instruction.

Rodenhiser Home Services is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to fair and equitable pay practices. The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000-$125,000, based on responsibilities, experience, and other relevant factors. Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other variable compensation depending on their position. Total compensation is determined through a structured review considering experience, education, certifications, and licenses.
