Job summary

G&G Electric is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems, with some commercial calls as needed. You will work directly with clients, uphold safety standards, and document all work performed.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License with TDLR.
• 4+ years of Lead Service Technician experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Perform service calls primarily for residential properties, with occasional commercial calls (retail, offices, light industrial)
• Install outlets, lighting, panels, breakers, and related components
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
• Communicate clearly with clients and provide exceptional service
• Complete accurate documentation of work performed
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Be available for occasional on-call/emergency calls, particularly around holidays

G&G Electric is looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll handle a wide range of service calls—primarily residential, with commercial calls as they come in—from diagnosing and repairing electrical issues to performing routine maintenance and small installations. You'll be working directly with clients, so professionalism, communication, and efficiency are key.
