Job summary

Steve's Plumbing & A/C Service in Hawaii is seeking an Electrical Service Manager to lead and grow our Electrical Division. You will guide residential electricians and apprentices, manage daily operations, and drive service quality and profitability across Oahu, Maui, Big Island, and Kauai.

This leadership role emphasizes team development and customer excellence. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential electrical services and strong leadership, with the Journeyman license preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in residential electrical services.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential electricians and apprentices.
• Oversee daily operations and performance of the Electrical Department.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and departmental success.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, service standards, and goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to expand electrical services across service areas.
• Support technicians with estimating, pricing, and customer solutions.
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences and timely resolution of concerns.
• Maintain compliance with electrical codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards.
• Develop processes to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Collaborate with Plumbing, HVAC, and Operations teams to achieve company goals.

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of residential service operations, performance metrics, and profitability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive both service excellence and business growth.
• Strong technology and software proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay Transparency

The starting compensation for this opportunity begins at $110,000+ annually, with substantial earning potential for proven leaders who successfully grow and develop a high-performing electrical department. Actual compensation will be based on experience, leadership background, transferable skills, market conditions, and business needs. Additional earnings opportunities may include performance-based incentives and bonus programs.

Physical Demands
