Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. seeks an Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead design efforts for mission-critical buildings, focusing on energy-efficient electrical systems and lighting design for complex facilities.

You will manage client relationships, guide project teams, and deliver innovative solutions from concept through construction, supported by ABET‑accredited degree, PE registration, and 15+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in power distribution and lighting design for complex facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process on assigned projects within the discipline.
• Develop innovative design solutions aligned with project and client needs.
• Guide teams and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Electrical Senior Project Engineer

AEI supports mission‑driven organizations in designing systems and environments that advance society. As Electrical Senior Project Engineer, you will help clients achieve energy‑efficient building solutions and create a greener future.

Responsibilities

In this role you will build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners and be responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. You will also develop innovative and unique design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs and lead the team in implementing solutions.

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSAE (or another engineering discipline) from an ABET‑accredited program.
• 15+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000
