Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Portland, ME, is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business through formal training and hands-on learning. You will rotate through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes to gain broad exposure and develop product knowledge of electrical and security equipment.

Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm, with a starting pay rate of $18.19-$21.63 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Rotate through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Gain hands-on experience through the training program.
