Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training and hands‑on learning.

You will be exposed to all areas of the business and receive specialized training before transitioning into a sales role. The role provides a structured path through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes, with typical hours 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 2-4 year degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution process.
• Develop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipment.
• Rotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processes.
