Base pay range

The Jacman Group is seeking an experienced and passionate contract Electrical Safety Instructor to join our team of elite training professionals. As a trusted provider of Arc Flash/NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training, we travel nationwide, delivering high-quality training to a wide range of industries.

Position Overview:

As an Electrical Safety Instructor, your primary responsibility will be to teach Arc Flash/NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace, along with other electrical safety-related courses. This is a travel-based role, and all travel expenses are paid and coordinated by our team to ensure a seamless experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive NFPA 70E/Arc Flash Safety training sessions to diverse audiences.
• Customize training approach to meet the specific needs of different clients.
• Stay updated with the latest changes and updates in electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Assess the training needs of clients and provide expert advice on electrical safe work practices.
• Foster an engaging and interactive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years demonstrated electrical experience as an electrician in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or similar environments.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a technical or industrial setting. Experience in delivering NFPA 70E or other electrical safety training is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner. Comfortable speaking to and motivating diverse audiences, including those with varying levels of experience.
• Willingness to travel, with all expenses paid and arrangements coordinated by our team.
• A passion for electrical safety and a love for teaching and interacting with people.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ideally, Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) certification or other relevant electrical safety certifications are highly preferred.
• Prior experience teaching various electrical safety courses to various groups.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
