Job summary

Barts Electric Co is seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance safety programs within the electrical services division. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety across all projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in safety coordination, knowledge of OSHA standards, and strong communication skills. This position is primarily office-based but may require travel to job sites in other states.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in safety coordination, preferably in electrical or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other relevant safety standards.
• Conduct safety orientations for new hires and ongoing training for staff.
• Perform regular job site inspections to identify safety risks.
