Job summary

Olsson, a people-centric engineering firm, is seeking an Electrical Designer for our Data Centers team in the United States. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, using Revit to create plans and design detail sheets, and assist with project production.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in drafting (preferred), 2+ years of drafting experience, and proficiency with CAD/Revit, BIM, and Microsoft Office. Occasional fieldwork and site visits may be required.

Job Description

As an Electrical Designer on our Data Centers team, you will work collaboratively with engineers and other technicians on the team using Revit software to create plans and perform design work. You will also contribute to project production sheets by adding dimension/layout plans and title/detail sheets. You may also travel occasionally to job sites for observation, and/or field work, working in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

• Strong communication skills

• Associate’s degree in drafting preferred
• 2 or more years of drafting experience
• Knowledge of CAD/Revit and BIM software required
• Experience with Microsoft products, including Word and Excel, and Adobe or Bluebeam

The typical annual salary range for this role is as listed below. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role may be eligible for our performance‑based bonus and merit increases.

National Pay Range

$27—$50 USD
