Job summary

Colonial Group in Valdosta, GA is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead a team of hourly union electricians and oversee maintenance in the mill. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical work, outages, and capital projects to improve equipment reliability.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) with 2–5 years of supervision experience and proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of electrical maintenance supervision experience.
• Experience with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to maintenance and operating personnel.
• Coordinate outages, scheduled maintenance, and capital projects.
• Manage hourly union journeyman electricians.
• Develop maintenance programs to improve electrical reliability.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams.
• Oversee PMs and documentation for equipment.
• Manage contractors and RCFA-based problem solving.
