Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies seeks an Electrical Reliability Intern for Winter 2027. The intern class is a 12‑week, hourly program designed for students currently enrolled in a four‑year university.

You will join the reliability team to address hard hardware challenges and gain hands‑on experience designing, testing, and validating space hardware. You’ll contribute to DFMEA activities, write code to evaluate performance, and collaborate with engineers to improve satellite reliability.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
  • Interest in learning about, designing, and working with electronics systems
  • A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast‑paced environment and hands‑on design and development
  • Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch
  • US Citizenship or Green Card

Responsibilities

  • Perform reliability analyses on satellite systems
  • Work with the reliability design team to analyze flight hardware
  • Support DFMEA efforts
  • Write code to help evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware
