The estimated base salary range for this role is $91,000 to $114,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.

Electrical Reliability Engineer

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and manage key electrical systems and processes, including:
    • Plant HVAC
    • Spare motor program (tracked through SAP)
    • Instrument calibration and transformer PM processes
    • Thermal PM and PCT training processes
  • Lead and execute the Electrical DT Corrective Action Plan, including creation of One‑Point Lessons
  • Maintain and manage PLC program historian processes
  • Create and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD
  • Develop, create, and manage electrical work orders, PMs, and BOMs in SAP
  • Supervise and coordinate craftsmen and contractors; serve as backup support as needed
  • Support planning activities and serve as backup for planning functions
  • Participate in operational working sessions to drive continuous improvement
  • Analyze downtime and maintenance data to identify reliability improvement opportunities
  • Support and participate in RCFA (8-Step) problem‑solving processes
  • Attend and contribute to:
    • Daily production meetings
    • Outage planning meetings
  • Partner cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
What Will Make You Successful
  • Strong understanding of electrical maintenance systems (PM, PdM, CBM)
  • Ability to analyze process and downtime data to drive improvements
  • Experience applying root cause problem solving (RCFA, FMEA)
  • Solid knowledge of PLCs and industrial electrical systems
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Hands‑on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
What Makes You Stand Out
  • SAP experience for maintenance and work order management
  • Lean / Continuous Improvement experience or certification
  • Reliability Engineering experience
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, ultrasonic, etc.)
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Experience leading improvement initiatives or capital projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD for electrical drawings and updates
  • Experience coordinating contractors and cross‑functional teams
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
