Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally within transformers.
• R&D experience in a business or industrial environment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of magnetic, dielectric, or thermal design preferred.
• Familiarity with FEM or 2D circuit-simulation tools is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a creative, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute inventive electrical design ideas to R&D projects.
• Lead or support initiatives aligned with time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate prototype manufacturing and testing activities.
• Design and execute experiments to validate technical solutions.
• Document project progress and develop design rules from findings.
• Participate in intellectual property discussions and risk evaluations.
• Provide technical support to factories, marketing teams, and customers.
• Collaborate with global R&D peers to optimize electrical designs.
• Support cost-out initiatives and design portfolio development for the South Boston location.
