Job summary

Siemens is hiring a Quality Test Technician II for the 2nd shift at our Fort Worth, TX site. You will test and inspect low voltage assemblies, verify readings, and ensure conformance to standards while documenting results.

You’ll work with tools like multimeters, Hipot testers, and software such as WinPM and WinCC Flexible to support quality control. This role requires at least 2 years of experience with electrical components, a high school diploma or GED, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years exposure to electrical components
• High school diploma or GED
• Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability/experience testing and troubleshooting with strong problem-solving skills
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Testing and inspecting Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (e.g. UL1558, UL891, IEEE)
• Use multimeter and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit design
• Use Hipot, test card, hand tools, specialized software (WinPM, Step 7, MicroWin, WinCC Flexible, SAP) and various other tools to aid in testing and inspecting
• Perform inspection/audit of mechanical and electrical assemblies
• Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities
