Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Quality Lead in Baton Rouge, LA, to oversee QA/QC for state-of-the-art data center projects. You will coordinate with subcontractors, lead on-site quality audits, and drive ITP/test pack compliance while supporting turnover packages.

The role requires 8 years in industrial construction with QA/QC experience and strong communication and analytical skills. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in Industrial Construction Field with QA/QC experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering specifications, documents, and drawings.
• Proficiency in Office 365 platforms (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Forward thinking and able to contribute with innovative ideas.

Responsibilities

• Communicating field quality issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Work with discipline subcontractors to ensure contractor quality plans and ITPs are in place and compliant with site requirements.
• Lead contractor quality audits on-site and in fabrication facilities.
• Ensure ITPs and Test Packs are understood, acted on, and completed in a timely fashion in compliance with ITPs.
• Assist in developing Construction Turn Over Package requirements.
• Provide on-site assistance, monitor and visually inspect material at receipt and before installation.
• Ensure Nonconformities are captured in NCRs and corrective actions are implemented.
