Job summary

New Flyer is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance professional to collaborate with commissioning personnel, line electricians, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues. You will lead root cause analyses, implement containment and corrective actions, and monitor supplier performance to prevent recurrence.

You will act as the primary liaison between New Flyer and suppliers of electrical components, harnesses, and systems, ensuring quality records, timely SCAN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Quality Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, manufacturing, quality assurance, or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and root cause methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with commissioning personnel, line electricians, production teams, engineering, and quality personnel to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical quality issues.
• Lead root cause investigations and develop containment and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Serve as primary quality liaison with internal and external suppliers of electrical components to improve product quality and supplier performance.
• Coordinate and manage Supplier Corrective Action Notices (SCANs) and ensure closure with documentation.
