Job summary

EPI Power is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to support electrical construction activities on a major data center project in Boydton, VA. The QC Inspector ensures installations meet project specifications, codes, and quality standards while working closely with field and commissioning teams to drive quality, safety, and efficiency.

This full-time role requires availability six days per week during peak construction phases, with duties including inspecting underground duct

Qualifications

• Technical documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
• Experience with construction quality inspection, electrical preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical installations (underground duct banks, cable tray systems, cable bus systems, wall rough‑ins) for compliance with project specifications and NEC requirements.
• Perform delivery and equipment inspections to verify condition and documentation.
• Support inspections and testing of low‑ and medium‑voltage cable installations.
• Verify torque, termination, and workmanship of electrical equipment.
• Document and track inspections using quality systems such as CxAlloy, Nexus, Procore, or ACC.
• Coordinate with field, commissioning, and project management teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical codes and compliance requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications accurately.
