Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or commissioning.
• Experience with electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems on industrial projects.
• Journeyman's electrical license or NCCER required.
• Background in regulated industries (pharma, life sciences, semiconductors, cleanrooms).
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Familiar with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation processes.
• Experience preparing or reviewing turnover documentation packages.
• Familiarity with commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities.
• Understanding of local and national electrical safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent quality control inspections of electrical work to verify conformance with project plans/specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
• Develop, manage, and track punch lists, including verification of corrective actions and readiness for project closeout.
• Coordinate with the P&E project team to understand scope, milestones, inspection hold points, and documentation requirements.
• Identify and document nonconformances/deficiencies, communicate issues to project leadership, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support turnover activities, closeout documentation, and final walkdowns to ensure complete and compliant deliverables.
• Promote a strong culture of safety and quality while working onsite with field personnel and subcontractors.
