Job summary

Helix Electric Inc. seeks a seasoned Electrical Quality Control Manager to collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent, driving QA/QC execution and the final commissioning process on electrical construction projects.

You will lead QC plan development, oversee testing, inspection reports, and daily QC documentation while coordinating with 3rd-party testers and field teams to ensure NEC/70E compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in the electrical construction field.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in construction environment performing QA/QC auditing.
• Experience with electrical equipment and conductors to ensure safe testing, QC, and commissioning.
• Experience with safe start-up of electrical systems.
• Experience with de-energizing, Lockout tag of electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace).
• Excellent knowledge of data acquisition systems (monitoring, communications, networking).
• Up to date and current computer knowledge, including Excel, MS Office, email, internet, and DAS software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all required testing and inspection reports with the project management team.
• Assist with development and execution of project QC plans.
• Lead QC documentation, including reports, test data, logs, and daily QC reports.
• Coordinate with 3rd party testing firms and perform site QC walks.
• Promote adherence to QC standards with field personnel and ensure safety guidelines.
