Job summary

Dematic is seeking an experienced electrical field leader in Atlanta to oversee installation crews and subcontractors across customer sites. You will ensure safety, quality, productivity, and schedule adherence while coordinating outages, commissioning, and system upgrades.

The role requires travel up to 100% to customer locations, weekend or off-shift work as needed, and the ability to work in active industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical installation crews.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead field leadership and project execution.
• Lead electrical installation crews and subcontractors while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and schedule commitments.
• Plan and coordinate electrical cut-ins, equipment replacements, and system upgrades at facilities.
• Evaluate existing electrical infrastructure and develop safe installation sequences to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate outage windows, startup activities, and commissioning with project teams and customers.
• Monitor progress, manpower utilization, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Provide regular project updates and lead daily site meetings and reviews.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and PLC I/O drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues during installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Support Controls Engineering teams with testing and issue resolution.
