Job summary

Corbins, a Nox Group company, is seeking a Project Superintendent to support the Southwest's most challenging projects, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical and water/wastewater facilities.

You will lead field teams, align safety and QA/QC plans with project requirements, and work closely with the Project Manager to keep labor projections accurate and the schedule on track. OSHA 30 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety and quality plans align with project requirements and are followed.
• Works with Safety to ensure plans meet industry standards and client needs.
• Supports Foreman and Field Superintendents to meet their duties.
• Oversees QA/QC and site production quality, coordinating with QA/QC team.
• Collaborates with Safety, Virtual Construction, QA/QC, and HR to optimize team performance.
• Partners with Project Manager to verify labor projections and schedule adherence.
• Develops comprehensive project plans including requirements, constraints, and opportunities.
• Mentors Field Superintendents and Foremen and holds them accountable.
• Builds strong relationships with customers through integrity and transparency.

We are currently seeking a Project Superintendent to support the construction of some the most challenging and exciting projects in the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical and water/wastewater treatment facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures corporate safety and quality plans are aligned with project-specific requirements and is implemented throughout the duration of the project.
• Responsible for job site safety and work closely with the Safety team to ensure project safety plans align with Corbins, the customers and industry standards.
• Supports Foreman and Field Superintendents directly to ensure their responsibilities are met.
• Responsible for the quality of all site production while working closely with the QA/QC department to develop the project QA/QC execution plans.
• Drive a strong working relationship with Safety, Virtual Construction, QA/QC, and Human Resources to ensure the project team is operating at its full capacity and maintaining Corbins' policies.
• Partners closely with the Project Manager to ensure labor projections are accurate and the project is adhering to the schedule.
• Leads the development of comprehensive project plans, incorporating all requirements, constraints, and opportunities.
• Strategically develops Field Superintendents and Foreman by mentoring and holding them accountable to their managerial responsibilities.
• Builds rapport with each customer by displaying integrity, honesty and transparency while mitigating risks and upholding contracts.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of all aspects of construction and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
• Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities, and take initiative.
• Demonstrated success supporting a team through complex project execution.
• Experience leading project teams and holding them accountable to project goals.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and presentation skills are a must.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.

  • Potentially lift up to 50 pounds
  • Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
  • Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
