Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a qualified Electrical Project Manager to oversee projects from bid to completion.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical construction, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules. The position emphasizes coordinating with vendors, handling change orders, and ensuring project profitability while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with electrical project installation and 2+ years knowledge/experience in electrical construction, design, finance, and management.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proficiency in the company’s computer system and department software, and typing.
• Licensed electrician or electrical construction background.

Responsibilities

• Bid, takeoff, and prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare preconstruction budgets and scheduling.
• Oversee project from bidding through final construction activities.
• Process drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate vendors and manage submittals, deliveries, labor, schedule, and payment disputes.
• Review project cash flow and management reports with the team.
