Job summary

Precision Industrial Contractors is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to oversee a large, complex construction project and interface with clients, while leading a strong team of electricians.

The role combines technical direction, bid review, design work, and scheduling with emphasis on safety, budgets, and on-time delivery. A Master Electrician license and 5+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington/Oregon Master Electrician license.
• Undergraduate in electrical, civil or construction-related technology, or extensive related experience.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must demonstrate ethical behavior while delivering quality work within budgets and schedules.
• Must understand the value of client satisfaction.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, managerial, and supervisory direction for projects.
• Prepare construction documents including drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with marketing and business managers on proposals and marketing.
• Mentor and grow a team of electricians on large, complex projects.
• Review owner plans/specifications to develop construction plans and estimates.
• Review bid/contract documents and legal opinions.
• Conduct site investigations prior to operations planning.
• Apply engineering techniques per company policy.
• Perform design work beyond estimator scope as needed.
• Develop and manage scope, budget, and schedule.
• Stay informed on industry trends and new equipment/methods.
• Prepare special engineering studies or reports as required.
• Consult with owners on bid, design, rates, schedules.
