Pitt Electric in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for commercial projects, including bid/submittal documents and cost estimates. The role involves coordinating with Project Managers/Estimators, suppliers and customers to ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), NC Electrical License, and at least 4 years in estimating/blueprints/arithmetic, with proficiency in estimating software and

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Electrical license in NC.
• 4 years experience estimating or closing construction estimates.
• 1 year experience estimating software.
• 1 year proficiency with computers and MS Office.
• 4 years ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineer drawings.
• 4 years arithmetic calculations for estimating.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Lead and coordinate with Project Managers/Estimators, suppliers and customers to submit estimates.
• Oversee project activities to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Direct field personnel when required and maintain positive client relationships.

Position Summary:

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for preparing and completing bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. As the Manager for projects, will work with other Project Managers/Estimators, suppliers and customers to submit the estimate and see the project through to completion. This position may lead and direct the activities of Field Personnel and oversees all project activity while maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring that projects are completed timely, to the customers’ satisfaction and expectations.

Experience/Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Electrical License in NC

Other Requirements:

4 year’s Experience in estimating or in closing construction estimates.

1 year Experience in Estimating software.

1 year Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office programs.

4 years Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineer design drawings

4 years Ability to perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
