Dubak Electrical of Indiana LLC continues to grow and is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in the Greater Indianapolis area.

This individual will manage and estimate electrical construction projects in the heavy commercial/light industrial sector, varying in size and location across different industries throughout the state. Responsibilities include creating and finding bidding opportunities, initiating project estimates from start to finish, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects with support from other departments.

The Electrical Project Manager is the primary accountable for project delivery, including design (if applicable), scope, cost, and schedule. They will also provide overall direction on projects involving industrial electrical construction and maintenance, and develop new business opportunities within specific client groups, market sectors, or geographical areas. Typical project sizes range from $10,000 to $4.5 million.

Responsibilities
  • Understand corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities.
  • Prioritize client satisfaction and treat clients with respect and professionalism.
  • Possess working knowledge of industrial construction, design, finance, and project management.
  • Apply innovative management techniques to maximize project performance.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and demonstrate proficiency with MS Project, Word, and Excel.
  • Prepare technical documents including proposals, scope of work, and client presentations.
  • Manage industrial electrical job costing and tracking.
  • Have working knowledge of electrical (High/Expert), mechanical, civil, structural, and piping work.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, request labor resources, and draft schedules and manpower plans.
  • Understand and coordinate installation methods across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to prevent interference.
  • Use project proposals and contracts as management tools.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of industrial electrical estimating in power, controls, automation, instrumentation, lighting, maintenance, data/voice, fiber optics, and project management.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development as directed by leadership.
  • Lead value engineering analyses to optimize project outcomes without compromising safety or quality.
  • Lead pre-construction activities on various projects.
  • Manage projects efficiently within bid deadlines, demonstrating self-leadership and time management skills.
  • Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
